HAVE A VOICE
We are activists & harm reduction workers with lived and living experience of drug use working on the frontline of the overdose crisis.
This website shares our stories of the rewards and challenges of supporting people who use drugs, and the dope policies needed to create meaningful change.
National Black, Indigenous and People of Colour Recognition
We would like to acknowledge that the land we live, work and play on is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Indigenous people of North America. Acknowledging territory should take place within the larger context of genuine and ongoing work to forge real understanding, and to challenge ongoing colonialism.
Every individual and every institution has a role to play in making the needed changes to dismantle systemic racism and oppression against Black, Indigenous and people of colour. We think one action that anyone can take is raising your own awareness - learning about other cultures, asking questions, reading, and becoming more self-aware. We must keep an open mind and open heart. Through this acknowledgment and the harm reduction philosophy we commit ourselves to this lifelong work in creating effective change within our society.
